Community Liaison Group

Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) established the Community Liaison Group (CLG)  to help ensure that residents, community groups and bay users were kept informed about the Channel Deepening Project and its associated works in Port Phillip Bay. The group continues to meet during the post-dredging monitoring period.

CLG members represent a broad cross-section of the community, including environment, recreation,  tourism, heritage, business and industry.

Chaired by former ABC radio broadcaster, Terry Laidler,  members provide advice and input to PoMC about community interests in the project and disseminate information to groups and organisations.
