Station Pier is open to the public throughout the year during daylight hours for pedestrians except on cruise ship days. On cruise ship days, the pier is at its busiest coordinating customs, immigration, quarantine, security and baggage handling responsibilities.

A limited number of short-term car parks are available in the Waterfront Place precinct immediately adjoining Station Pier. Charges apply.

Long-term car parking
No long-term car parking is available at Station Pier.

Transport to/from Station Pier

Station Pier is located in Port Melbourne, approximately 3 kilometres south-west of Melbourne's city centre (Melways reference:  Map 2J A7).

Transport - Station Pier to/from Melbourne Airport

Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport is located approximately 20 kilometres north-west of the city centre. The airport is connected to the city by a regular bus service which arrives and departs from the bus terminal at Southern Cross train station.
