Maritime Education Program
Our port is a vital, dynamic operation with a fantastic potential
for teaching and learning.
In recognition of this, the Education Program was initiated in
late 2002 and is developing ideas to help school students and the
community learn about the activities of our port, ships, shipping
and the wider port environment.
Just as the Port of Melbourne is the gateway to the wider world,
we have placed information on this site to help people explore the
wider world of maritime trade and transport.
