Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)

Background
As part of the security arrangements around Australia anyone working at, or accessing certain areas at the Port of Melbourne (and all ports across Australia) needs to apply for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).

Anyone working unmonitored or unescorted within a maritime security zone must display an MSIC. Without this card people will not be able to work unmonitored or unescorted within these zones.

Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) no longer issues or replaces MSICs.

For general information about MSICs and a list of organisations which issue them, please visit the Australian Government's Department of Infrastructure and Transport website.

Renewing or replacing an MSIC previously issued by PoMC
If your current MSIC was issued by PoMC and you need to renew it or have lost it, please contact Sydney Ports Corporation with all enquiries.
